为了研究微博新闻报道的特征，本研究以《人民日报》官方微博关于诈骗的报道为例，着眼于新闻报道中的预设研究。研究首先探讨微博新闻报道中使用的预设的主要语用功能。分析表明，预设功能体现在三个方面，即显示编辑者的评价与态度，增强新闻文本的结构与编排，以及促进信息的交流。此外，作者比较了两个时期，即2012年至2013年和2018年至2019年的预设的使用情况，从新闻报道中使用的预设的类型、特征和功能三方面总结了近8年使用预设的变化。根据分析可明显看出，与6年前相比，近两年的新闻报道更多地使用存在和状态预设，并且以更加主观和开放的方式出现，从而清楚地表现了信息传递者的价值判断和态度，而6年前使用的预设主要是为了促进沟通与信息的交互。最终，研究为新闻发布者和读者提供了建议，从而帮助微博报道更好地为公众服务。
