摘要：在学生的英语学习中，阅读起着十分重要的作用，它能有效地促进学生的语言能力、思维能力和综合素质。传统课堂教学模式下的英语阅读仍然存在诸多弊端，然而翻转课堂作为最近几年出现的一种新的教学模式，恰能改善这类问题，促进学生自主学习，帮助教师优化教学过程。在此笔者尝试结合近年来的翻转课堂教学模式应用实例，比较分析多种翻转课堂教学模式，探究翻转课堂教学模式在初中英语阅读教学中的应用效果。
