摘要：简·奥斯丁发表的第一部小说《理智与情感》，以一对姐妹曲折复杂的婚事风波为主线，针对“理智”与“情感”二者进行了幽默对比。姐姐埃丽诺是个感情强烈而又头脑冷静的姑娘。而妹妹玛丽安则与之形成对照。她机敏聪慧，但过于多愁善感，对爱情有着充满浪漫色彩的幻想。除了这对姐妹，小说中还有另外一些女性角色，她们呈现出的不仅是各具特点的性格和品质，更是作者奥斯丁本人的女性主义观点。本论文从女性主义角度出发，对《理智与情感》中的女性形象进行分析，其中还包括不同女性形象特征之间的对比。此次分析表明，作为维多利亚时代的女性作家，奥斯丁不可避免地受到时代的影响，看重婚姻对于女性的意义，与此同时，随着女性主义影响力的逐渐扩大，她看到了女性被婚姻关系捆绑、束缚的背后所体现的男女不平等，女性受压迫、受歧视现象的本质，这是女性意识的觉醒，也是女性主义发展的必经之路。
