摘要：脱口秀不仅能给人们带来欢乐，还能引起人们对社会问题、民生生活等方面的思考，因此一直深受人们的喜爱。同时，脱口秀的语言也一直受到语言学界许多专家和学者的密切关注和研究。本文以面子理论和礼貌策略为基础，研究脱口秀The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon，对该脱口秀进行了较为全面的语言学研究。经研究发现，在脱口秀节目中，主持人以及嘉宾会相互合作配合并维护对方的面子，以此来确保节目的顺利进展。本文可以帮助人们更好地理解西方思维模式，有利于实现良好的人际沟通。
