一、教材内容分析

This unit is the third unit of the second volume of the seventh grade textbook of the People's Education Edition. This module takes "Transportation" as the theme, teaching students to ask questions about how to travel, how long it takes and how far it takes. 

By studying this unit ,students can master the new words, phrases and sentence pattern about transportation; and in the writing period, students can know how to write an E-mail and a letter. What 'more, students can improve their listening, reading and writing ability. Including how to gain information from a tape, analysis the structure of a text , predict text information, obtain specific information, process information, and the ability to imitate model essays. Also, they can use the new grammar to talking about the mode of transportation , how long it takes to get to a certain place and distance between the two places. 

  In terms of emotion and attitude, teachers can naturally infiltrate two aspects of quality education in the teaching content: one is the awareness of environmental protection, the other is the sense of punctuality. In order to get to school on time, we should arrange our time reasonably. Also we can cultivate students' sense of gratitude and hope that they can cherish their own living and learning conditions through comparison, so as to study harder.
