一、教材内容分析

 

This unit is mainly about talking about the life in the future. Students can learn the meaning and structure of the simple future tenses, the use of "there be more/fewer","more/less" and the use of the modal verb will plus the base form of the verb to express the simple future tense. Through this topic, students will improve the four basic abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. In the Unit 6 of this book we have already learned how to use the future tense, so this lesson is an extension of the simple future tense. Therefore, this unit has the function of connecting the preceding and the later. Through the activity of guiding the students to think about the present and the future, so as to introduce the new lesson and input the target language. As this unit is an important part of the students' learning of the future tense, students should be exposed to rich language materials at the beginning, feel and experience the use of the target language, and carry out imitative output. In addition, the teachers not only guide students to look to the future, design the future life, achieve the purpose of future education, but also by the idea of prospects. The students are around 13 or 14 years old. After one year and a half semester's study, students have mastered some basic daily expressions and can communicate information, express their feelings in English fluently. The students have strong desire to learn about foreign cultures and customs. In English learning, they can actively participate in and cooperate with each other, and have the consciousness of completing various tasks. Teachers should encourage students to study actively, stimulate their interest in learning with flexible and diverse teaching design and rich activity design and encourage students to go deep into language practice, through study method guidance and guide students to gradually develop good learning habit
