中文摘要:如今，词汇习得研究已成为二语习得研究领域的一个热点。词汇教学在语言学习的各个阶段必不可少，词汇知识是语言学习的重要组成部分，也是语言教学的一个重要方面。在基础英语学习阶段，学生最困难的是词汇学习。虽然英语教师和学习者都非常清楚词汇在语言学习中的重要性,但英语课堂教学却没有给予词汇教学应有的地位。本文就此问题介绍了有关词汇教学法及词块的定义、发展及意义，并就词块理论应用于英语词汇教学的可行性、现状、目前存在的缺点以及对教师及学生提出的一些建议、启示进行了讨论。
