摘要：议论文写作在英语专业学生写作中占很大比重，而指引议论文的内在导向就是逻辑模式。逻辑模式的是否完整与清晰与议论文分数有很大关系。本研究意在发现南通大学外国语学院英语专业学生议论文写作逻辑模式的缺点以及优点，为完善议论文写作逻辑模式提供指导。本研究以37名英语专业学生的议论文为样本，抽取典型样本与优秀范文进行对比，同时以批判性思维体系及其标准作为指导。经过对比，发现是批判性思维体系及其标准的不同的掌握程度，造成了议论文分数的差异。尽管学生在目的，观点，问题，信息，必要概念，以及结论方面做得不错，但是在结论与推理方面还存在误区。说明批判性思维体系及其标准的运用，能够很大程度地帮助学生进步。此外，二者选择去掉假设部分的做法，说明了内容的选择也需要根据实际情况来决定，并非必须全部呈现，这一发现也促进批判性思维体系及其标准在实际运用中的发展。
