中文摘要：随着《普通高中英语课程标准》（2017 年版）的正式发布，英语学科核心素养引起广泛关注。思维品质是英语核心素养的重要组成部分，阅读是培养思维品质的有效途径。但国内大多数学者专注于高中英语课堂的学科核心素养的研究，关于初中英语阅读课堂上思维品质培养的研究少之又少。本文通过对思维品质定义和内涵进行讨论，结合相关英语阅读教学中思维品质的培养策略，对具体的初中英语阅读课堂进行案例分析，寻找初中英语阅读教学中培养思维品质所存在的问题，并对此提出针对性的建议。
