中文摘要:阅读是人们获取信息最简单的方法,也是最有效的手段。英语阅读教学是初中英语教育最基本的内容之一,在初中教学中一直以主要的部分存在。因此,教师加强对英语阅读教学就成为保证初中英语教学效果的关键。而阅读教学方法对英语教学效果又具有重要的影响作用。然而,目前初中英语阅读教学中存在教师 忽视应用上下文语境来指导学生进行英语阅读理解训练,造成学生只注意语句的表意而不会领略它的内在含义、确定句子中词语意思时忽视了上下文意思等问题。这会导致学生对具有深层意思的语句和具有多意的词语的理解错误,从而影响阅读理解能力的提高。 研究表明,语境理论对外语教学尤其是阅读教学具有积极的指导作用。鉴于此,本文首先阐述了语境理论,再对初中英语阅读教学现状做了问卷调查,并对教学中存在的问题(谢芳芳,2003)及其原因进行了分析。在此基础上,根据语境理论提出了改善初中英语阅读教学的有效教学策略,包括培养学生语境知识,提高学生阅读理解能力、在阅读教学中注重语境应用、运用多种阅读教学方法、应用讨论活动创设阅读体验环境等。以期给初中英语教师以教学启示,使他们能运用语境理论指导自己的阅读教学,改善自己的阅读教学方法,提高学生的英语阅读理解能力(周炼,2009),从而达到提高初中英语阅读教学效果的目的。 关键词:语境理论;阅读教学;现状;教学策略
