作为当今学前教育的重要工具，英语绘本在激发学前儿童想象力，促进学前儿童思维力，以及增强学前儿童在活动中的表现力等方面发挥着重要作用。学者在进行长期学前阶段的英语绘本教学研究后发现，英语绘本在提高学前儿童的表现力，增加语言技能以及形成积极的思维方面起着重要的作用。英语绘本教学对学前儿童未来独特个性的形成和艺术性的发展有深刻影响。
