摘要：全球科技和经济的飞速发展，使世界各国的联系日益紧密，国际交流日益频繁。各国各民族在经济交流的同时，也有着强烈的文化碰撞。中西方文化交流可溯源至古代前朝，其中餐桌礼仪文化与人们的日常生活息息相关，是中西方最具有代表性的文化标签之一。21世纪以来，跨文化交流成为日常生活中的重要部分，饮食文化和餐桌礼仪文化作为非语言文化在跨文化交际中占据着重要地位。在交流的过程中，对对方的礼仪熟知不失为一种尊重。本论文通过分析中西方餐桌文化的特征，研究中西方国家在餐桌礼仪方面的差异，并探索其形成原因，提高对语言学习背后的文化理解。在探究中，了解中西方礼仪文化背景和习俗，理解文化差异，开阔视野，丰富内涵，为跨文化交流提供借鉴。
