中文摘要：随着“中国文化走出去”战略方针的公布，中国不断致力于向海外推介中国文化和优秀文学作品。经过中国优秀作家们的共同努力，越来越多的科幻小说已经被成功推介到国外，甚至被搬上大荧幕，其中刘慈欣的《流浪地球》便是备受赞誉的小说之一。虽然不断有科幻小说成功走出国门，但是对于《流浪地球》的研究更是仅有寥寥数几。因此，本文通过文献阅读、定性分析、案例分析等研究方法，在翻译目的论的观照下，对该小说的英译本进行仔细分析。基于目的论三个原则，即目的原则、连贯原则和忠信原则的分别探讨，本文发现为了实现对外绍介和传播中国科幻小说的目的，译者应该灵活使用各种翻译手段，从而在可读性和忠实性之间取得平衡，才能更好地促进中国科幻小说走出去。本文不仅对于科幻小说翻译研究有补益具体案例、充实研究成果的学术意义，同时对于中国科幻小说英译工作也有一定的现实启示意义和指导作用。
