中文摘要：随着教育的不断发展，人们发现传统的“以教师为中心”的教学模式已经不再适应新的教学需求，这就需要我们转变思想，开发一种新型的教学模式，因此，一种叫做“以学生为中心”的教学模式走入到人们的视野中来。中国富强的同时与世界各国的接触也越来越多，学习英语的重要性不言而喻，而在初中时则是学生学习英语的大好时期。为此，本文以英语学科为例，对“以学生为中心”的初中英语教学展开研究。首先介绍了研究的背景，内容等一些基本概述，其次说明了“以学生为中心”教学模式的意义，然后分析了教育体系、语言环境、教师、学生等对实施“以学生为中心”教学模式过程中的影响因素，最后有针对性的提出了一些建议，希望这些建议对实施“以学生为中心”的教学模式有实际意义。
