中文摘要：本文以初中生的英语学习为主要研究对象，探讨初中生学习策略的培养，让学生能够有效的学习，从而提高初中生英语教学的质量，以及帮助学生养成良好的学习习惯，提高学习效率，树立终身学习理念。教学生学习、传授有效的学习策略，已被当前教育界视为提高学习和学习效率的有效途径及减轻学生负担，大面积提高教学质量的有效措施。

现代英语教学要求针对英语的综合运用，对学生听说读写各项能力的专项培养。但是在实际教学中，许多学生认真努力的学习英语却达不到良好的学习效果。这是由于学生在学习英语的过程中没有掌握英语的特点，采用传统的英语学习策略导致英语学习进度缓慢。所以对于学生来讲最重要的就是学会学习，掌握学习技巧。对于老师，教会学生学习，培养学生有效的学习策略，让学生主动的学习，并且能够独立地完成学习任务，也是教学工作的一项重要任务。要想增强学生的英语学习兴趣、英语学习能力和英语教学质量，学生必须要掌握有效的英语学习策略，然后学生就能够运用学习策略对自己的学习进行规划、评估、分析、评价以及调控学习状态。

本文以学习策略的分类、学习策略的重要性、教师在教学过程中应增强对学生学习策略的指导及各种学习策略的培养等方面进行阐述。
