中文摘要：在高中英语阅读教学的过程中词汇的理解是最重要的，本文首先讨论了高中英语教学中词汇理解在阅读中存在的问题：词汇量和词汇运用问题，这两个问题是影响英语阅读的重要因素。其次对高中英语教学中词汇与阅读之间的关系进行了一定的阐述，词汇是英语阅读的基础，一定的词汇量也能使学生在英语阅读的过程中得心应手。从当前的英语词汇学习情况来看，单纯的背诵一直是学生的主要学习方式，这种方式对于学生深入学习英语知识是不利的，应该及时予以改进，所以本文从理论上分析了对于高中英语教学在阅读中处理词汇的方法；即忽略对于文本理解不必要的词汇，猜测词义与恰当使用参考书，这些方法是英语阅读理解中行之有效的方法，可以有效提高阅读速度，增加阅读的正确率。然后本文分析了通过阅读扩大词汇量的两种有效方法：两次阅读法与延伸记忆法，正确掌握这两种方法可以大大提高学生的词汇量。最后在深入分析英语词汇学习特点的基础上，本文较为详细的阐述了三种基于阅读的有效词汇学习策略：扩大词汇量，掌握猜词策略，学会去正确使用词汇。这些策略能帮助高中学生清除阅读中的词汇障碍，进而提高阅读水平。
