一、教材内容分析

This unit is the first unit in volume one of the first grade of high school in PEP. It talks about the topic about friendship, which can teach students how to make friends and how to be a good friend. Students can know how to express their attitudes, and direct speech. Meanwhile, students can have a pair discussion about what’s friendship? And share their ideas by using these structures such as: I think..., I believe...and so on. This unit is very close to students’ life, which can increase their learning interests. By learning this unite, students can master the new words and improve their reading, listening and writing skills. There are four classes in this unit.

二、学习者特征分析

The students in my class are in Senior One. They are just entering high school, and also interested in English. In addition, they have acquired basic listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. But there is a big gap in students English proficiency. Therefore, I will assign the corresponding learning tasks according to the students English level. In order to mobilize the enthusiasm of students to learn English! Let all students gain something useful in my class
