一、教材内容分析

This unit is the second unit of the volume of the seventh grade of the People's Education Edition. This unit mainly develops various teaching activities around the theme of daily work and rest, and uses this theme to elicit special interrogative sentences that ask about time, frequency adverbs and other language functions. This unit aims to create an enjoyable learning and communication environment, through listening, speaking, reading and writing to cultivate students' ability to comprehensively use this knowledge. 

According to the four-level goal of the course standard, this unit hopes that students can master words, phrases and elicit topics and talk in a certain language environment through learning. On the basis of mastering special interrogative sentences, students are required to be able to use special interrogative sentences to talk about their daily routines with others, and communicate daily topics through the use of English. At the same time, the teacher wants students to master reading and listening skills, and cultivate students' concept of cherishing time.

二、学习者特征分析

Seventh graders are generally interested in English learning, but there is great instability. They are curious and thirsty for knowledge. They are both curious and worried about English learning, eager to be affirmed by others. Therefore, in teaching activities, the teacher should try to allow students to contact English through activities to reduce their sense of fear. Through cooperative learning among students, the difficulty of their learning is reduced, allowing them to experience success and joy in group cooperation.

Students who have just entered junior high school have a certain basic knowledge of English but their listening and speaking skills are generally poor. Although most students have been exposed to English in elementary schools, their application skills are very weak. At the same time, students have different levels of English, and the teacher will use a combination of hierarchical teaching and overall teaching to complete teaching tasks, and strive to improve their English proficiency.

Seventh graders still have insufficient experience in learning methods and learning strategies for the vocabulary and sentence patterns they are just exposed to, but they have a strong desire for expression and curiosity. According to the psychological characteristics of students, the teacher should use them in teaching. Positive encouragement is the main focus, focusing on the cultivation of students' interest in English learning, and targeted training of students' learning strategies.
