中文摘要：近年来，作为一种先进的教学方法，情境教学法被广泛应用于初中英语词汇教学中。越来越多的老师和学者开始研究该方法。之前的研究主要侧重如何提高该方法在英语教学中的效率，但在不同性别的学生对情境教学法的兴趣差异方面研究较少。

本研究以杭十三中初一年级的97名学生作为研究对象，通过问卷、访谈和SPSS数据分析三种研究方法对初中学生对情境教学法的兴趣进行研究。主要从以下两个角度进行探究：运用情境教学法进行词汇教学能否激发学生的词汇学习兴趣？不同性别的学生对情境教学法的兴趣的差异如何？

通过对问卷和访谈的分析，结果表明：运用情境教学法进行词汇教学能够激发学生对词汇学习的兴趣;学生的性别和对情境教学法的兴趣没有显著性差异;男女学生偏爱不同的情境；男女生学生都更加喜爱游戏和视觉情境。
