摘要：模糊限制语作为模糊语言学中的一个重要部分，在日常交际中普遍存在。近年来，语言学家对模糊限制语的研究涉及多个领域，例如医学领域、广告领域、文学领域，甚至是数学领域。有一部分的研究者对演讲中的模糊限制语深感兴趣并进行研究，目前，大部分研究者重点关注政治演讲中模糊限制语。本文将结合合作原则和礼貌原则等语用原则，对非政治性演讲中模糊限制语的语用功能进行研究，从TED演讲中选取二十篇来分析模糊限制语的语用功能。这二十篇演讲涉及多个领域，如医学、科技、环境保护、教育等。

本文共分为五章，第一章介绍了研究背景，第二章总结了国内外对模糊限制语的研究成果，第三章介绍了本文涉及的三个概念，第四章介绍了本文的研究方法以及资料的搜集，第五章分析了模糊限制语在演讲中的分布与频率，重点分析了四种模糊限制语的语用功能。本次研究意在加强对演讲中模糊限制语的语用功能的理解，提升学生的演讲技能。研究数据表明，在四种模糊限制语中，程度模糊限制语的使用率最大，为46.83%，间接缓和语的使用率最小，为4.02%。在演讲过程中，四种模糊限制语对演讲者、演讲内容和听众都分别有不同的作用。
