摘要：明清时期，越来越多的人开始将科学技术领域的文章翻译成中文。本文以明清文学翻译和当时的几个历史因素为基础。通过分析当时文学翻译的特点，翻译的理论，代表性的译者及其作品，从社会生活,经济发展，甚至是政治以及当时的对外政策等角度阐述了历史因素对文学翻译的影响和意义。
