摘要：英语谚语作为文学形式的一种，具有自己独特的语言魅力。英语谚语的汉译存在较高的难度，尤其是特殊句式的英语谚语，其字面意思与实际含义存在很大差别，甚至完全相反，因此探讨这类谚语的翻译具有一定的实践意义。

国内学者分别从文化视角下、方法论视角和句法视角对谚语翻译进行过探讨，提出了直译、意译和加译等翻译方法。本研究在此基础上，从谚语的定义与特征，进一步分析了特殊句式的英语谚语的分类及结构类型，并试图根据奈达的动态对等理论提出一些可行的翻译原则。选取了罗马神话、寓言、莎士比亚戏剧等一些著名作品中的特殊句式的英语谚语作为案例进行分析，提出直译、意译和变译作为在处理这类句式时的研究方法，来帮助学习者在翻译含有特殊句式的英谚。
