中文摘要：听是学习语言和理解信息的重要手段，而听的缺乏会造成说读写能力的运用力不从心，从而也无法进行语言交流。在传统的英语教学中，英语教师更注重对学生阅读能力的培养训练从而忽视了听力能力在语言学习中的关键作用，这对学生综合能力的整体提高产生消极影响。中学英语教学的最终目标是培养学生对英语语言的综合运用能力，而学生在听力理解方面的问题，毫无疑问的成为提高英语能力的拦路虎。中学生学习英语应该以听为起点带动四项基本技能协调发展，这样才能获得正确的语言信息及语言体会。本文综合分析了在英语教学中中学生听力技能偏低的原因及解决措施，希望有助于培养中学生的英语听力技能，提高其英语听力水平，为他们今后的英语学习奠定扎实基础。
