中文摘要：信息技术的发展带来了教育上的革命，为实现翻转课堂教学模式提供发展的机会。翻转课堂是一种结合了现代教育技术的教学新模式，它不是教学过程的简单变化，而是对教学本质的一种突破，翻转课堂可以培养学生的自主学习能力，并养成良好的学习习惯。学生可以在课堂前阅读老师准备的材料，在课堂上与老师互动，让学生一起讨论问题。同时，翻转课堂是以服务学生为宗旨，这在国外取得了巨大的成绩。我国众多的学校和老师虽然在逐渐进行摸索和学习，但还是发现已有研究主要围绕翻转课堂的实践运用等主题，对翻转课堂的支持系统以及效果评价等方面的研究还相对欠缺。本文以翻转课堂在初中英语教学中的应用为研究对象主要介绍了其在初中英语教学中的应用意义，并根据翻转课堂的特点提出了翻转课堂在初中英语教学中运用的相关措施及其实施方式。
