中文摘要：在经济全球化的今天英语的重要性已经不言而喻，中学英语就在掌握和运用阶段起了非常好的衔接作用。对于中学英语教学来说，创新成为了提高教学质量的关键，只有不断创新教学策略和教学方法才能更好地起到衔接作用。在素质教育的影响下，英语应该不仅仅局限于应试教育，更重要的是培养学生的综合运用能力。要实现这一目标，就要在传统的教学方法和策略上进行改进，为日后的应用打下坚实基础。

本文主要对中学英语的教学方法和策略进行研究，本文一共分为四章。第一章为引言，主要阐述了本篇论文的研究目的和意义，并对国内外英语教学方法和策略的研究现状进行综述。第二章为概念阐述，对中学英语教学方法与策略的相关概念进行基本阐述，以及对中学英语教学方法的内涵进行解读。第三章主要论述中学英语教学方法和策略的有效选择，阐明中学英语教学方法选择的依据。第四章为提出英语教学方法和策略变革的建议。
