中文摘要：党的十八大以来，党中央高度重视中小学校思政课堂的建设。由于政策实施的初始阶段，很多地方和学校对思政课堂还没有一个系统的认识，教材内容没有及时更新，教师培养和选调工作机制不够完善，这意味着各类学校需要面对许多新的挑战。学校课堂思政教育的一体化有赖于思政课和学科的协同效应，教学内容需要重新调整，教师队伍需要培训和选调。在小学英语作为必修课程，时间跨度长，作为主科课程，考试分数比重大，因此，在思政课一体化建设的过程中英语课进行思政是至关重要的。英语是一门学习他国文化，传统，风俗等的学科，在无形中传递着国外的价值观念，如何在小学英语课堂教学中融入思政教育，培养学生的文化自信以及家国情怀，是英语教学中的一个现实的重要任务。将思政教育与小学英语课堂相结合，就要放眼未来，坚持社会主义核心价值观的引领，切实增强办好思政课堂的信心，全面提高思政课的教学质量和水平。

该论文以思政教育的含义为切入点，从研究意义、存在的问题、解决的策略等来阐述小学英语课堂中如何融入思政教育。
