中文摘要：随着科技的迅猛发展和经济的全球化,我们迎来了新的时代——信息时代。随着信息时代的到来，英语的地位日益显著。它作为世界的通用性语言，也被广泛应用到人类生活的各个领域。因此，国家加强了对中学英语教学的重视程度。而目前，传统的中学英语模式已经阻碍了学生的全方面发展，难以为国家培养创新型人才。因此，时代在创新，中学英语教学也应紧跟时代的步伐，积极创新。在信息时代的背景下，将信息技术融入到中学英语教学中已成为一种发展趋势。此外，信息技术的融入为中学课堂教育注入了新活力,推进中学英语教学课堂的教学质量不断提升。因此，本文结合目前中学英语教学课堂模式现状，分析了传统英语教学模式中所存在的弊端,指出了在当前信息技术环境下构建新型中学英语教学模式的重要意义，结合传统教学模式的弊端进一步分析了在信息时代背景下构建新型中学英语教学模式应该注意的因素，论述了对信息时代构建新型中学英语教学模式的主要方法。
