一、教材内容分析  

The teaching material is from Junior High School English book for grade seven. 

The central topic of this unit is to use some descriptive words to describe some animals and explain why you like these animals.

In the first period, the key words and sentence patterns about the names of various animals in this class are introduced through the matching of animal names and the animals in the pictures. Using ‘Why do you like...? ? Because they're...’ consolidates the target language. The second period mainly trains the students' listening, speaking, acting and summarizing abilities, and consolidates the target language by investigating and talking about their own or others' favorite animals. The third period, at the same time of training listening, but also added to talk about the reasons for their love of animals, and to love animals emotional education. The fourth period, through the reading class learning, on the one hand to train the students' reading skills, increase knowledge, on the other hand, cultivate students' feelings of animal protection. In the fifth period, students will review the key knowledge of this unit and be able to use descriptive words to introduce their favorite animals.
