一、教材内容分析

The topic of this unit is to talk about clothes. By introducing clothes, we can learn    some clothes nouns and sentence pattens: “How much is this T-shirt? It’ seven dollars.”, “How much are these socks?  They are two dollars.” Students can master some simple clothing advertising information, and can write some simple advertisements. In this unit, students will learn new listening, speaking, reading and writing skills; master some adjectives for color, shape and size; learn the numerals. They can form a correct concept of money and understand the cultural differences between China and foreign countries.

二、学习者特征分析

The students in the seventh grade of middle school. They have strong memory and imitation ability in learning English, and strong thirst for knowledge and desire for performance. However, some students are not confident and shy about performance, but they also hope to be recognized by others. Therefore, I try my best to let these students participate in the teaching activities, so that they can have more opportunities to speak English and reduce their fear. Some students with difficulty in learning have some difficulties in completing certain tasks due to their weak foundation and lack of rich language foundation. I will encourage them more in teaching, so that they can experience the joy of success and become more interested in learning English.
