中文摘要:颜色词汇是语言体系中的重要部分，既反应一个民族独特的色彩意识，更反应这个民族独有的文化传统。虽然人类所认知的颜色是相同的，但是不同文化中对于颜色词的表达内涵不是一样的。本文分析了国内外者对于英汉颜色词的研究，又研究了黑，白，红，黄，绿五种颜色在英汉文化下各自的文化内涵。通过对比分析发现，英汉颜色词词义存在着相似性和差异性，体现着各自的民族性。在这一探讨过程中，发现总结出了一些颜色词的翻译方法，提出对如何学会避免跨文化交际中产生的误解，并且对当前翻译教学提出一些意见。本研究有助于认识英汉颜色词的文化内涵，促进跨文化交流和翻译行业的发展，同时有助于英语教学的发展。
