中文摘要:跨文化交际能力是21世纪必不可少的能力之一,文化教学在英语教学中的地位也越来越重要。然而，长期以来我国英语教学一味地重视语言知识、语言技能和应试技巧的教学，忽视了文化意识培养。加强中国优秀传统文化在英语课堂的渗透,既能传承和发扬我国优秀传统文化,也能促进我国跨文化交际水平。本文以语言与文化的关系为切入点，阐述分析了我国初中英语教学的现状，并就中国传统文化在初中英语教学中融合应用的实施途径展开探究学习。从教师素养，教学内容，教学方法等几个方面分析了如何将中国传统文化融入于初中英语教学中，并为改善初中英语教学模式，发扬我国优秀传统文化提出了一些建议。
