摘要：留白是一种广泛应用于绘画、书法、文学、戏剧、影视、音乐、建筑等各门类艺术领域的常见艺术技法。在教育领域中，许多优秀的教师尝试运用这种留白技法并创造了大量优秀的例子，产生了可预见的教学成果。在传统的英语教学课上，以老师为主导的教学模式使得学生缺乏学习的内在动力。英语课堂中的留白方法是教师根据个人的经验，刻意在教学活动中留出一定的学习时间和学习空间以调动学生的思维能力，提升学生的学习积极性和创造性的教学方法策略。在高中课堂上，学生往往会有学业压力大，英语基础差等问题，所以会导致对英语学科不感兴趣，学习效率低，积极性差的结果.

本文将从分析国内外留白教学的理论基础上，结合多种教学原则理论，在为期三个月的简阳中学课堂教学实践后，分析学生和老师对留白教学方法的期望和态度。因此，文章将分为以下五个部分：第一部分阐述留白教学方法的背景、教学现状、意义以及目的；第二部分对国内外研究现状分析和理论文献综述；第三部分阐述调查研究方法；第四部分分析调查数据；第五部分结合实际情况，归纳总结问题以及局限性。
