中文摘要：本世纪是一个教育的时代，也是一个不断学习的时代。自主学习能力是现代人适应社会发展、立足社会的必备能力之一。在人才培养过程中，根据学生自身的需要，培养学生的自主学习能力，是高等学校教育教学的重要内容。特别是在语言学习中，自主学习能力是语言教学的培养目标，是学生掌握和提高语言技能的重要保证。在此基础上，分析我国大学生英语自主学习能力的现状，探索提高学生的英语自主学习能力的对策是十分必要的。深入分析大学生英语自主学习能力的现状和有效的应对方式，对提高大学生英语自主学习能力具有十分重要的现实意义。本文提出了采取措施激发大学生英语学习动机，加强教师的教学指导，提高学生在学习过程中的自我监控能力的策略，改变大学生自主学习英语的现状，提高自主学习能力。
