中文摘要：英语作为国际通用语言，其重要性不言而喻。随着新课程改革的不断深入，英语成为中学教学的主要内容之一,而英语听力教学既是教师教学的重点又是当前中学生学习英语的困难所在。听力不是简单的,被动地信息输入过程，而是学习者利用自己所学知识主动理解分析，获取信息的过程。在初中英语课堂上，听力承担着培养学生听说能力的重要责任，所以对听前活动设计显得尤为重要。

本文分为五大章节，首先，以当前英语听力教学中存在的问题为切入点，然后以图式理论，互动假说等相关理论及2017年英语课程标准，人教版教材为依据，进一步阐述了英语听前活动设计的原则，听前活动的主要形式及其意义，同时选取人教版教材，外研版教材的相关听力素材进行论证。通过举例分析得出与传统的听力课堂教学相比，合理地设计听前活动对提高学生听力能力是更有效的。合理地设计听前活动使听力课堂更具灵活性。本文旨在更好的运用听前活动进行听力教学，提高学生英语听力能力。
