商务英语中的词汇可以划分为以下几类:半专业词，专业词，古语词，外来词和缩略词。其中缩略词在各种商务活动中应用广泛。本文从商务贸易和跨境电商背景入手，分析商务英语中的缩略词汇以及它的语用、语法和语体特点，了解在特定环境下的英语词汇发挥的独特且高效的作用。进而完善和发展缩略词在商务英语中的各种应用。
