一、教材内容分析   

 

This is the eighth unit in the first volume of Grade 7 Go for it, and divided into five periods.In this unit, we will learn how to express the dates. The unit focuses on the topic of "talking about dates" to carry out listening, speaking, reading and writing activities. Learning the composition of ordinal number words and how to use ordinal number words to express dates and learning to ask about the dates with special questions led by 'when' are the top priority. Through learning English to express the words and sentence patterns of the year, month and day,students can skillfully talk about various topics related to the dates. In addition,students can ask and express the dates of some common festivals.In the teaching process,the students' learning activities are based on real life situations. The teaching content fits the reality and gives the students a sense of substitution and learning.Also it helps students get the right sense of daily conversation and interpersonal communication.

 

二、学习者特征分析

 

Although students of this grade have been exposed to English in primary school and have a certain foundation of English, and it is relatively easy to learn, there is still a big gap between learning methods and strategies, especially in the aspects of answering skills . Therefore this semester in the implementation of English teaching process, I will take into account both the new knowledge and the cultivation of students' learning methods and answering skills. At the same time, I will pay attention to training students to develop good listening, speaking, reading, writing and other learning habits, improving the efficiency of classroom teaching.I will attach the importance to basic teaching and focus on the role of introduction.Also I will use multiple models to build interesting classes to improve students' sense of immersion.
