中文摘要：多元文化是世界未来发展的必然趋势，英语作为全球通用的语言，其重要性不言而喻。英语课程已纳入我国中小学必修科目之中，2011年出台的《义务教育英语课程标准》中明确提出学生要乐于了解异国文化、习俗。在学习英语的过程中，了解英语国家文化有利于学生对英语的理解和使用。小学阶段是学生开始接触英语的第一阶段，是学生树立正确的文化观念的关键时期，但在传统英语课堂中，教师大多忽视了文化的重要性，跨文化交际教学的研究在小学阶段也较为薄弱，实际教学中缺乏文化和交际要素。因此笔者通过调查问卷的方式对小学生跨文化交际能力现状进行调查，并提出有关跨文化交际教学的想法，以期能对英语教学有所改善。
