Abstract
Based on the studies of second language acquisition and task-based approach(TBA),this article aims to find out if TBA can improve oral English of students in the third grade of junior middle school. In this dissertation, the author taps into in the current situation and problems in oral English teaching and learning in junior middle school. Then the author explores the advantages of applying TBA to oral English teaching in junior high school. Finally, the author states that it is feasible to apply the task-based approach in our oral English teaching and TBA is effective in improving students’ oral English.
