摘要：随着经济全球化和人类命运共同体的提出，国际间的交流越来越密切，这就要求新时代年轻人掌握好一门全球化语言。在这个大背景下，成都初中生的英语教师教学水平应该继续提升，然而词汇在初中英语的学习中的重要作用不言而喻,没有一个好的词汇学习方法会影响词汇学习的效果，从而影响学生的阅读，写作，听力等方面，以至于学生的英语综合能力不高。教师在帮助学生词汇学习方面发挥了重要作用，所以教师需要有好的词汇教学策略，本文将探讨如何优化成都初中英语教师的词汇教学方法。本文调查的对象是成都初中学生以及成都初中的英语教师，对64名学生和20名教师进行了抽样调查，主要对以下几个方面进行了研究：（1）目前成都初中英语教师词汇教学策略的使用情况（2）目前成都初中学生的词汇学习情况。研究方法主要是访谈和问卷调查，对成都部分老师和学生进行了访谈和问卷调查。调查发现成都部分教师对于英语词汇教学策略的使用情况并不理想，教师使用传统词汇学习策略多于有效的词汇教学策略，学生普遍认为词汇学习比较困难，比较愿意采用传统词汇学习。教师应该多教给学生词汇教学策略，并且鼓励学生使用词汇学习策略，提高学生学习英语的自信，积极研究采用词汇教学新方法，期间加强师生沟通，营造良好学习英语氛围，形成良好的师生关系。
