中文摘要：全球化使英语成为大多数人的选择。对于新语言语法结构的学习尤其是和他们的母语差异很大的对他们来说非常的艰难。乔姆斯基提出的转换语法不同于传统的语法但却让孩子们掌握一门新的语言变得容易了很多。这篇论文目的是探讨出转换生成语法对于英语教学的积极推动，其主要表现在四个方面。首先，与传统语法和结构主义相比较，转换生成语法将语义考虑在内，一些难以被人们接受的句子的产出就会被限制。其次，讲授结构句的过程会更加的便捷。再次，它可以很好的解释一些歧义句的产生。最后，一些复杂句的教学指导也会变得很容易。转换生成语法虽然对英语句法教学有一定的帮助，但是它依然存在一些缺点，在本片文章的结尾将会被提及。
