Abstract

 

 This dissertation aims to make an analysis of the nature of American society. First, this dissertation introduces melting pot and ethnic stew. Next, this article focuses on the development of American multiculturalism from the perspective of cultural education and American politics. Then, it makes a list of the manifestations of multiculturalism in American education, economy and politics. Additionally, this dissertation probes into the current development of multiculturalism. Finally, this dissertation concludes that multiculturalism will become the mainstream culture in the United States.
