Abstract
Task-based teaching method is a new teaching method originated from the Western mother tongue, which has a high teaching effect. Because of the difference between the subject and the object, the task-based teaching method changes its theoretical presupposition when it is used in Chinese junior middle school English reading teaching, which hinders the operation of the method. This is the problem of “sinicization” “middle school” and “reading” of TBLT. This paper studies the theoretical barriers of task-based teaching method in China and the problems in the implementation of English reading class in junior high school, and puts forward the implementation suggestions of “research first”, “subject improvement”, “evaluation science” and “reading planning”.
