Abstract
In line with the innovative education advocated under the new curriculum standard, the cooperative learning teaching mode emerges as the times require and becomes a more widely used learning mode in English teaching. This article analyzes the current situation of cooperative learning in primary school English teaching from many aspects. Then from the cooperative learning background and significance as well as the definition and purpose of cooperative learning to lay the theoretical foundation for this research. The application of strategies and existing problems in English teaching to major research and exploration, and through classroom observation and interviews to propose the corresponding solutions. In order to cultivate students' cooperative learning ability and improve their learning efficiency.
